  • Ensure a smooth and efficient migration from HCL Commerce v8 to v9.1.10 without disrupting ongoing business operations or compromising data integrity

Solution

  • The Good Guys were on HCL Commerce v8 and wanted to migrate to v9.1.10 using Lift & Shift Migration approach.
  • Embraced v9 architecture completely with modern & fast UI enabling better scalability to support The Good Guys for global rollout.
  • Implemented latest version of Solr search v7.3.1
  • Data migration from Oracle DB to latest version of DB2
  • Seamless integration with third party applications like Acoustic, SIRV, Google Analytics, Particular Audience (especially Price Beat) & other applications to deliver smooth customer experience
  • Migration included Payment Gateways & Gift card implementation
  • Created script to push data load automatically that supports docker environment
